Dr. Edna Ngare is the Health Sector Champion and currently the Chief Wellness Director at SOLACE LIFESTYLE & WELLNESS HUBS and also the CEO and Founder of LAZULI WELLNESS & SPA RESORTS. In 2013 before founding Solace Resorts, she served as the Managing Director at SPRINGS LIFESTYLE & WELLNESS CENTRE in Nairobi.
As a Medical Officer, she has worked with the MINISTRY OF HEALTH from 2008-2010 in Embu Provisional Hospital, Kiambu and Kajiado District Hospitals. She later joined THE NAIROBI HOSPITAL for 4 years until mid-2014.
Dr. Ngare — Gor attained her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Nairobi in 2007. In 2013 she enrolled at Liverpool University UK to undertake MSc. International Health Systems Management- on going.
In 2013 she attained her International postgraduate Pediatric Certificate (IPPC) from the University of Sydney, Australia and an Australian Leadership Award Fellowship in Postgraduate Pediatric Education.
She has been involved in several Lifestyle & wellness Presentations and Health Talks in Corporates, Churches, TV Interviews and Events. Promoting a Life of Healthy bodies, Minds and Spirit.
She also serves as a Board Member of an International Country based NGO — Adventist Development and Relief Agency - ADRA Kenya.
Other than Solace Lifestyle & Wellness, her business interests are in; Healthmatt Medical Supplies, Argan Medicare and Onorama Relators.
She is a true believer of the holistic approach to Well-being and stands by this wellness principle "that Life is not merely to be alive, but to be well; You can learn to follow the inner physician (inner self) that tells you where to go and what to do in order to be well; and Living well is simply attempting to do more of those things that bring joy and fewer of those that bring pain".
